For the mountain biking enthusiasts, we are well placed.
We offer a very secure stone building in the courtyard just opposite and in full sight of our cottages with a secure padlock, bike stands, washing area and drying pulley.
Our whole holiday accommodation area is covered safely by CCTV security cameras to ensure your safety and that of your bikes.
The Peebles to Eddleston bike and walking multi use path is just over the road from us, so a very useful safe off-road pathway into Peebles town or North to Eddleston and beyond.
Should you wish to drive to Glentress, the world famous mountain biking centre we are a seven minute drive away.
Glentress is one of the best off road cycling trails in Britain offering tracks for beginners to experienced cyclists.
Innerleithen also provides great cycling with its downhill & enduro trails, offering both the Golfie & Red Bull. Steep, tight and technical, the Golfie is famous for providing adrenalin filled days. And at teh Red Bull car park, Adrenalin Uplift runs an uplift shuttle service so you can get multiple sessions in a day. Again only a short drive or cycle from us here at Winkston Farmhouse.
