Photo-walks
Over 2000 years ago, Chinese Taoists created gardens and green-houses to improve human health. Today, numerous psychological studies have linked exposure to nature with increased energy, improved cognition, and heightened sense of well-being. Being in nature reduces anger, fear and stress and increases pleasant feelings. It not only makes us feel better but also helps our physical and mental well-being.
A good range of photo walks are also available, to suit all levels and abilities.
All kind of cameras mobile phones included, are welcome.
Hanisa will accompany you and share some of her photographic knowledge and skills to help you create some memorable memories of your holiday in the Scottish Borders.
The length of the walks can go from two hours up to half day. Your choice.
Portrait session
The main function of a portrait is to tell some kind of story using or staging the perfect pose and lighting. A portrait session can be very therapeutic for the sitters, as they are the main focus of the photographer. It can be relaxing, fun, playful or even adventurous because it allows the subjects to act out a story, a concept or something about their personality they want to share in a photograph. Every portrait is a very special moment in time that is passed on to future generations. Every portrait leaves an imprint, a memory that others will enjoy too.
If you would like to pamper yourself, adding a new creative activity to your holiday at Winkston Farm, you can hire Hanisa for a portrait-session on location. You can choose a one hour mini photo-shoot, or longer if you wish to have a more elaborate and creative portraiture experience.
